I love going to El Paso. They have the absolute best salsa. It tastes so fresh and it's hard not to fill up on it before your main dish arrives. They have a great menu and everything I've tried has been delicious. They have a great happy hour as well!

this restaurant has amazing drinks like strawberry daquiris and margaritas! i love their chips and amazing salsa it doesnt set your mouth on fire but has just enough kick to keep me coming back for more. i go to the one in torrance, CA and they have the best service that give PLENTY of chips and salsa and are always attentive. the food is delicious and has the taste of true mexican food. it is affordable and not too pricey. great place to go.

I have been coming to El Paso Cantina since I was in grade school. My parents and I would go to the El Paso in San Pedro at the Ports of Call. Yeah, we had to wait 45 minutes or so, but the wait was worth it! I sit here and read peoples remarks about parking or about the wait and espicially about noise when it's busy. Well, some of these things cannot be helped. There is only one El Paso Cantina in the South Bay, that I know of any ways. El Paso Cantina is a great place to go for great Mexican Food. It is a place you can bring your family to a place where you can go on a first date. I still to this day love the Taquitos Con Guacamole and their Salsa is awesome!!! By the way, they are not stingy on the salsa, everybody at the table gets there own salsa bowl and it just keeps coming. I have never had a problem with El Paso being stingy on there salsa and I have been going there since 1984. El Paso Cantina is my favorite restaurant to go to and I am sticking to it!!! Thanks, Ivyswallows

Food is good, and the service is pretty good too. My biggest gripe once inside, is that this restaurant is stingy on the chips and salsa. Adding to that, their salsa is almost sweet, we find ourselves scratching our heads wondering what they put in it to make it that way and why. I am also disappointed that anything with 'real meat', cost an arm and a leg, but, they do have a way with ground beef. This place has good atmosphere, but is a little bit noisy (it is busy), and that detracts from the atmosphere. The worst thing is, that there is often a wait to get in, and insufficient space to wait in. In inclimate weather, that can be a bummer - dress warm if you go in winter. Another side effect of this busy restaurant, is that their is no place to park. You may have to park in a nearby residential street and walk a ways, or brave it and park illegally in a neighboring business and hope you do not get towed, many do,

He have been faithful patrons since they opened...many years. Food is excellant as is the service. Good place for families (a little pricey), however the food is plentiful. They have the best flan i have ever had. Wonderful cocktail hour with mini tacos and more. TV in bar. Banquet room is private and wonderful forbusiness or family gatherings
