Best Mex I know
I visited this quaint restaurant about two years ago just to catch a quick bite to eat while in town from Denver. Their salsa and sauces are to die for. I told my family in Hollywood about it and I'm sure I'm responsible for a lot of their business... or at least I hope so. I would recommend this cafe to anyone who loves Mexican food done just right. The service was superb and friendly too, which isn't always the case in LA.

Excellente!
I love this place. I go here everytime I am in LA and I love it every time. Margaritas are splendid! Banana Daquiri is good too! Yum Yum...

Worth a Drive From San Diego
The Margaritas are smooth and oh so drinkable... The service is always predicitable - fast, efficient, friendly and they never miss a beat.

Typical LA "Mexican" Food
It's not horrible, but it's nothing special. And pretty darn greasy.

Traditional Mex in a historic building
El Coyote has been there forever. It never seems to change. Food portions are substantial and spiced to typical American taste. Great selections and better quality than the "Mexican" food chains like Chevy's. Parking lot available and good bar.
