Best Cuban Food in LA
I went with a co-worker who has been raving about this place for years. It is by far the best Cuban food in L.A. The food is closest to homemade as you can get. The stews and neats are all slow cooked and served with pride. I had the Pollo al Jerez. It was flavorful with a slightly citrus accent. The ox tail stew was also delicious. Black beans and rice comes wtith all dishes and are done right. Genuine Cuban coffee and cola are avilable too. Go during the day since I don't think you want to be in that neighborhood after dark.

Best Genuine Cuban Food in LA
This is by far the best/most genuine cuban food in LA, and of course Orange County. We've been going there for over 30 years, and although the neighborhood has really deteriorated, the restaurant is still the same. Even the same waiters/waitresses are still there. Definitely worth venturing to that neck of the woods.

Excellent Cuban Food
This place reminds me of everything I knew growing up. My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years and the food had always been great. It is a great place to come for lunch if you work Downtown and you'll never go wrong with the Ropa Vieja or the Palomilla. Huge portions, great service...the best Cuban food in LA.
