    A Great Dinning Experience

The old Malibu Sea Lion restaurant (now Duke's), is truly a landmark destination restaurant. Go there with the expectation to have a good, relaxing dinning experience with a super view of the Pacific. You can't go wrong! Sadismo!

    Landmark restaurant

As a native Californian, born in 1950, the former Malibu Sea lion was our family's special restaurant. Surfing, Beachboys, sunshine, and 57 Chevy's was my life in the 60's. Now living outside of Calif for many years, I cannot visit, without coming back

    Do you remember?

I think you have to be a real Californian to remember the night the waves came thru the windows at the original Sea Lion, now Dukes. Of course, Dukes took care of the problem, but I have been back there many times since the night an especially heavy stor

I used to go here when it was the original Sea Lion Resturant in the early 1960's. The waves, at high tide, used to splash hard right against the windows as you ate dinner. I used to eat two loaves of sour dough bread & butter before the meal even

Great Food, Great View, Great People

Came here as a child when it was The Sea Lion. I Had the BEST fish tacos I have ever tasted! The value was terrific. We were well tended to by several members of the staff. We were treated to a few crashing waves that almost hit the windows and a school o

Major tourist trap - but if you are one

This place was built for tourists who want a slice of Malibu. I dont think any locals actually go here. Its just a facade. Everyone from out of town comes here for the "Malibu experience". But thats kind of like L.A. Everyone comes in for the L
