Came here as a child when it was The Sea Lion. I Had the BEST fish tacos I have ever tasted! The value was terrific. We were well tended to by several members of the staff. We were treated to a few crashing waves that almost hit the windows and a school of porpoises swimming about 25 yards off the rocks. Don't miss Duke's if you are driving down the PCH!

So what if its a trap I think not, like any place in the Malibu area whats not pop. was there when it was Sea Lion and still come here it has a great view good people and grand food.. Any one I have brought here has come back with me or on thier own.... so drop the trap BS it a great place to hang.

This place was built for tourists who want a slice of Malibu. I dont think any locals actually go here. Its just a facade. Everyone from out of town comes here for the "Malibu experience". But thats kind of like L.A. Everyone comes in for the L.A. experience, but most of them are tourists acting out what they perceive to be an L.A. character. Sun glasses, b.s., etc. But this has always been the character of L.A. Why do I speak of it in length? Because thats how this place is. So Not Malibu. It is the lets go to malibu to be like malibu folks but no one in there is actually from malibu. Somebody is gotta tell ya. Otherwise you wont know. Major tourist trap. Even the one in Hawaii is a major tourist trap. It has quite a happy hour and that is when the place is boomin every single day. Dukes, huh?? Ok. Why not. Cheers!
