I will never live down...
...offering Dolores as a suggested place to meet friends for dinner the day after Thanksgiving, 2008. I am still on `Probation’ amongst my dinner friends – barred from choosing restaurants without “Adult Supervision” for at least another month. The style & decor were OK (altered for on-going interior remodeling), but the wait-staff was useless - had to ask repeatedly for set-ups, water, etc. Three of us made the mistake of ordering the "Prime-Rib Special" - each was a not good; a slice of tender-but-tasteless meat, barely the thickness of 3 cuts of bologna, placed on`wonder-bread-substitute', next to a skimpy scoop of DRY mashed potatoes (had to ask for au jus 2X). The only person not disappointed had ordered the fish. The desserts looked great, but were dry (days old?) - and even the coffee was weak.

Best cinnamon buns ever!!
If like me, you appreciate a good cinnamon bun, you best get into your car right now - stop by Delores Restaurant. Ask for it to be heated up, stick your greasy paws into it and enjoy. Goodness.
