This was a poor dining experience - the prices reflect the amount of care that goes into it. First, the rice that is used at this establishment is NOT Japanese rice, which means it doesn't stick together properly as sushi rice should. Second, the fish quality is fair to poor; out of 5 types of fish I had, only 2 were passable (salmon and cooked shrimp, what a shame). The others had a fishy taste and I was slightly worried about not just the taste but the quality. Third, drinks are grossly over priced - fair enough, I should have checked the menu to see how much 'hot green tea' would cost, but I did not expect it to be $2! Most places offer it for free, or anything from $1-1.50 which is somewhat reasonable. Avoid at all costs unless you are broke and need a bargain for low quality inauthentic Japanese food.

Hey, it's my neighborhood sushi. Decent enough for a quick bite or wanting some less expensive sushi with good friends. Average selection of beer and wine. Could be a bit cheaper considering there's Azaka-ya that's a bit comparable in price but better tasting.
