Their Korean BBQ is ok, a little overpriced though. The soups there are excellent. The service is pretty bad, especially for the price you are paying.

It's been around for a few years now, and so it's name is more exposed, but i wouldn't say it is spectacular for the mediocre quality and poor service you receive in comparison to the prices. there is no distinct taste, flavor, or pizazz in their dishes. there are so many korean bbq restaurants just in l.a.: you just have to try it out and find the one that suits your needs and what is more important, whether that is the food: taste, quality; aesthetics: food presentation, service and restaurant atmosphere: old skool, traditional, fusion, luxurious; pricing and convenience. Good Luck! hopefully there will be a new korean bbq restaurant for superb dining :)

The food is americanized Korean so the meat and the side dishes are all a bit sweet. It is always crowded for dinner and typical Korean service, which is to say severely lacking. I've visited this place many times and as they get more popular, their service seems to be even worse than before. The last time I went, the waitress got my order wrong and blamed me, and never came back to check on us. Our water was not refilled and my biggest pet peeve of all, they charge for each glass of soda. That to me, is a sign of a very petty business.

There is definately better korean bbq available in ktown, but this place is pretty nice, offers a full bar, and does have a nice, big open patio.

This is a great Korean restaurant if you want to take visitors to experience the LA. K-town atmosphere. The food is good, but not the best in K-town. A little pricey compared to the neighboring restaurants, but worth it for the patio seating.
