    Love this place!

Was referred here by a friend and now crave the food each week. You have to know what to order- chicken in lettuce cups YUM! The service is excellent- bad reviews were from 2007!

    Disappointing

I have found the food and service terribly inconsistent, sometimes good, but often way off your old standard. One night the service was very poor. Please try and get your consistency back. Your overall quality has to match the higher prices on the menu. I will give it one more try just for old times sake.

    Great Chinese in Los Feliz!

I'm so happy that you guys re-open your restaurant. The food is amazing. I love the new location, chic and romantic. Congrats! Eva

    Fan since the opening

Seems that Chi Dynasty has fans and non-fans. Count me and my family in the former. We've been regulars since Jonathon opened and always enjoyed the food and service. It's not quite "authentic" but not quite the all Americanized version of Chinese food. Quality is consistently good. Service too. Order from the Chi Dynasty Specialties menu.

    Excellent Food and Exceptional Service

If you're looking for greasy, low-rent delivery Chinese food, this is not the place for you. The waiters are both amusing and courteous and the food... well, it's absolutely the best Chinese on the east side. I would rank it along side Sam's Noodle House in NY and Yank Sings in SF. Also, the bartender (though not nearly as nice as the waiters) makes a mean cosmopolitan.

    Just go somewhere else

Just because for whatever unknown reason there is a pronounced dearth of Chinese restaurants in Los Feliz, don't settle for this one. The food is absolutely the worst Chinese I've ever had, and horrendously overpriced. Plus the menu isn't even that extensive - what kind of chinese restaurant doesn't have crab rangoons? It is also a crime that, even in LA, a restaurant this lousy should be allowed to have valet parking. Just go to one of the abundant Thai places instead, and tell them to send some of their Chinese friends over from Asia to open a decent restaurant in Los Feliz.

    Classic Chinese Big Room

Place had that big dining hall feel that is what Chinese food is all about. They tried to modernize it with some Western style Asian themed decoration. Bad idea. Still fun. Service was good, old school style (tux shirt, bow tie, hair combed, etc.). Food was less than good, price was high. Would rather try another place next time I am in the mood for Chinese, like right now, thus why I am online writing this review.
