Even for those with low standards, service is Poor
To start out, I'd go with negative stars if i could. I went there on a Saturday for lunch; it wasn't overly packed... The waiter began with a tasteless description of the menu. When we asked him for 2 minutes, he scoffed and walked away. Then, when he came back we put in our order. Thirty Five minutes later, our food was still not there and three tables around us that got there after us had already received their food. We asked the server to check on our order but he disappeared, then we asked a busboy, and finally the hostess. Fifteen minutes later, they bring our food. No apologies...NOTHING. Neither my friend or I complained or said anything but it seems like that's how they work. Not only that, they didn't check on us ONCE to see if we needed anything (drinks etc) and when we did ask for a refill they kept forgetting. Before I left, I went to the hostess and said "I have to tell you that we're very disappointed with our experience today - the service was pretty poor (or nonexistent)" - she smiled at me and said "thank you, bye!" From start to end, poor experience!

Italian at its finest!
When you want a authentic italian dish, great athmosphere, celebrity sightings, and great service head over to Cafe Med on Susnet. This place never fails, great food, great value, fast to!! Try the Gnocchi Verde sooooo good, or Pappardelle Al Telefono or Lasagna Bice or ANYTHING! its all good!

Gr8 Atmosphere/Bad Service/Mediocre food
Went here with my cousin for lunch. Has FREE parking in back which is nice, but for the price, $12 for salad, and between $12-15 for a pizza, the price was too high. The food wasn't good, it was bland, and on top of that the service was slow, and they were not even that busy (probably half the tables were empty). The location is right on the Sunset strip, and it was nice to sit outside and be comfortable. We split a pizza and salad and walked out with a $40 bill including 15% tip. Granted we didnt try their pasta, or entrees, but those were even more expensive between $18-20 per plate. Not a great place for someone on a budget. The food was just mediocre and if I'm paying $40 I expect better. I will not go there again, and I cannot recommend the restaurant to anyone else either.

Upscale place and great people watching
Loved everything I have ever tried there...the prosciutto melone is the best in the city.

Great Food
The atmosphere at Cafe Med is incredible. Great for people watching and the food is very fresh. I recomend the Pappardelle al Telefono, it's the best pasta I have ever had.
