one of my faves in LA!
Given the fact that this is a casual little vegan place it is hard to describe just how great it is. Let me start my saying I am a foodie, not a vegan. Everything at Gratitude is very fresh, creative and well-prepared. The crowd and room are vibrant and fun. The staff takes pride in the food and mood of the place. People come here for special occasions even though it's quite casual for that reason. If you are vegan it has to be that much better for you. I would take out of town guests here for breakfast, lunch or dinner if I wanted them to relax and enjoy a meal - not to impress, to laid back for that. The sauces are amazing and make great use of healthy ingredients. Every time I eat at Gratitude I think I am doing something good for myself.
