battered fish syndrome
the beer-battered fish with french fries is just superb. they give you a little very good vinegar and some tartar sauce. the coating for the fish is perfect, the fries just as i like 'em--a bit soft (ask for them that way). they make a tasty meat (beef) pie also--but be warned, it's hamburger, not cubed or pulled beef, and i couldn't detect any carrots or potatoes. fine flavor though. the servers are as friendly as (seemingly) all aussies--which is to say, very.--gonzo
