Excellent hamburger
It's a mystery why our order (there were 4 of us) for 3 burgers and one salad was filled with only 2 burgers and a salad. The 4th person (myself) was left sitting with nothing in front of me for a long time, and then our waiter brought me a bowl of tomato soup to keep me going until the missing salad was finally served. He himself called it a "fiasco," and it was. He wisely did not bill me for the soup. I have no quarrel with my waiter; he was doing his best. But what's wrong with the kitchen? Why can't they get it right? --- Additionally, my friends who used the ladies room reported it was "messy." This should not happen in a restaurant of this type. I'm not sure I will return to BLD. Great food!
I've been here for breakfast and lunch several times and was never dissapointed. my favorites are the Blueberry Ricotta pancakes, baked stuffed French toast and the warm lentil salad! must try!

Great Breakfast
Arrived @ 12 noon and was glad they still served breakfast. The largest selection of eggs benedict I have ever seen. I had the salmon benedict and my son had the original. The chorizo homefries and fingerling potato sides were great, too! I loved that each table got a carafe of water, so you weren't constantly interrupted by a waiter for water.

Go for breakfast.
And get an order of the blueberry ricotta pancakes. They are TO DIE FOR. I'm being dramatic, but I can honestly say that they will be the best pancakes you have ever tasted. Ever. Service could use some work, but it's never been too big an issue when I was there. They serve their amazing breakfast menu until 3 pm, by the way. A boon for late risers like me!

Neglect, not service
I met two of my girlfriends here for lunch and we were dumbfounded by what poor service this place has. We seriously thought we were on hidden camera, the waiters/staff were so outrageously bad! The food was tasty but not worth enduring the "service" (read, "neglect").

Service definately doesn't match the food!
This is my favorite place for Breakfast, I always bring my friends to BLD, everyone agrees, that the service could be much better, it happened this week again, the female server never came to our table until we asked for the check, there was no excuse for it, it wasn't that busy!! And this happened now several times!!
