My friend and I ate lunch at Bistro 31 and were massively impressed by the quality of food and service. The staff and cooks are all students at the Art Institute of Los Angeles - Santa Monica. Chef Lee is the executive chef and has created a fantastic menu. We had the octopus salad, and seared scallops to start. For the main we went for the special, a soft shell crab BLT that was to die for. The desserts are not to be overlooked. We tried one of each. The peach galette and the passion fruit apricot mousse on green tea sponge were my favorite. Looking forward to trying out the dinner menu this week!
