Big city deli in a small space
This deli has everything the bigger delicatessens have - gigantic menu, oversized portions, happy noisy families chowing down next to big entertainment people discussing business - but in a cozy space in a strip mall off of Mulholland Drive. They have the deli requirements.. great pastrami, matzo ball soup, any omelette you can think of. If you want to watch "the game" they have beer and wine, and they're the only place in town I've seen that pays to have the sports come in in HD. Hard to get in on the weekends unless you have a reservation. Prices $$$ - same as the bigger deli's like Jerry'sbut you get a lot of food for the money and the service is faster and nicer.

Best corned beef ever
We went for the first time for breakfast...very good. But, we went back for lunch and the corned beef sandwich was like back east corned beef...delicious and tender. By far the best I have had in years. Our grandson loves the child's fish and we tasted his mashed potatoes. They were the best and so was the gravy, fresh and tasty. We found the service very good. It is a small deli with a big menu so you can expect a wait....worth waiting for.

Terrible
Waited an hour to be seated. Took 30 minutes for the appetizer to come. Took another 30 for our meals to come (we only ordered sandwiches). Terrible service. They don't bus tables, and leave dirty plates in front of you. Rude waiter, Worst restaurant I've ever eaten at in LA.
