LOVE this place. And can't believe complaints about the service. I've had them cater two parties as well. The food is fresh and healthy. Only complaint is that the restaurant is small and parking in the garage is a pain. I love to power walk the area, then pick up salads to go. Calling them right now to cater my work X-mas dinner. I"ve always found the staff to be pleasant and dedicated, but did wonder how they worked in such a tight shop. The owner is a lovely person too. There aren't a lot of quick places to pick up a healthy salad at a good price. This is one of my favorite Beverly Hills lunch spots.

The food at Basic Bites is healthy, natural and tasty, however the staff is rude. I dread going to this place because of the rude treatment I get from the staff. From the clerk at the counter taking my ordering rushing me, not paying attention to see if someone is even at the counter ready to order to brushing me off, - the service is just poor. I would go to this place more if the staff changed their attitudes.

I eat here at least once a week when I'm in the mood for something healthy. I usually get the Bandito Salad with Chicken it's a great Southwestern style salad. The food is pretty consistent although their chicken is a little salty. Also I think it's a tad expensive at around 9-10 bucks for a salad with chicken. One thing that is consistently great is the service. There is usually a line, but you get your food fast every time.

I can not believe the rude service I have continually received from this restaurant! The staff has absolutely no concept of customer service & run interference when one asks for a manager. When I asked for a manager....I was told that he was out making deliveries... The food is good - but not worth the trouble of dealing with their rude, insensitive, unprofessional customer service.
