Always excellent.
I've been going to Barragan's for over 25 years and it is the best Mexican restaurant in the downtown area. The food is always very good and the margaritas are first rate. Almost all the staff are long term employees and very friendly. A+++

great food at great prices!
I've been going here for over 10 years and seen the place go from no one inside, to it being the new hipster hangout. Their food is always good and the drinks - fantastic. I usually get the fish tacos - made with snapper - comes with salad or soup, and the cadillac margarita. Skip parking in the lot across the street and park at a meter. Only negative at Barrigan's is that sometimes the service is bad. You have to know which waitress to ask for. I always ask for Elena.
