just okay
Great location, great views. So-so service, often slow and/or wrong. Overpriced. Small portions (tiny pancakes, etc.)

Go here for desert or drinks, not dinner
I went here on a saturday night and was disappointed by the food quality. It was about a 4 on a one to ten scale, very bland and unsophisticated. Seafood did not taste fresh. Nice waiters and wine, wonderful atmosphere. Try the blueberry soup for desert, by FAR the best part of the meal. Overpriced considering food quality, but nice ambiance.

perfect for dates
This place is perfect for a date! Get the saku stone to have some fun with dinner as you get the chance to cook your shashimi style meat on a hot stone (don't touch it). Then after dinner go to the bar or downstairs to the firepit with lounge chairs facing the marina (like we did) and enjoy your drink, the fire, the view, and your date!!

Killer food and nothing else!
Food was excellent. Atmosphere is very eclectic. Little West La in the South Bay. Bar atmosphere is hip but service is a bit on the slow side. Staff in dining room could use some 4 star training. This might match the 4 star price.
