Really Good Food! Some bad things too
I've been going to Asia Kitchen from time to time for the past 9 years. They have great food and they've gotten even greater. They have all new cooks and the food quality has gotten even better. Everything is so fresh. One thing that I really don't like is that during the day, they store some boxed veggies outside. I've only seen the green onions and broccoli outside, so I avoid any dishes containing those two. I also have had credit card problems after ordering from them with my card. like another reviewer has posted). I had charges for online shopping that I did not make. This happened the day after I ordered from them. So I reccomend using cash. The restaurant is more suited for take out, and not eat in.

Adore the Cookies & Shrimp
I found the food to be quite delightful. Delicious, tasty & will return!

Good! But use Cash not Credit
Great food! Average prices, Huge portions. I'm not pointing any fingers here. But, I ordered food from here one night. Paid by credit card. This was the only place that I had used my card all week. The next day there was a charge on my credit card for and online shopping purchase for $40. There was also two plane tickets that were $539 dollars each, from an Asian travel agency. The tickets were going to Bejing China Without asking, my bank asked if I had ordered chinese food lately. Before they even looked at the charges!! They said it happens often. Asia Kitchen writes your number on a piece of paper when you order. I have seen it when I have gone in to pick it up. Not a secure way to do business. But food is great! Lol

Never remembers forks or napkins?
Seriously, even if you ask, they won't give you plastic utencils. I've had their delivery like 20 times, and I only got forks once - I'm convinced it must have been an freak accident that cost more than one person their job. Besides that, its fine. Lots of decent, if unremarkable chinese styled grease delivery systems.

Massive Portions
I think some of the reviews are too harsh. Keep in mind, this is A TAKE OUT JOINT. Nothing more. The food is simple. Chow Mein, Ribs, Sweet & Sour Pork, etc...Their delivery system is efficient and fairly quick. The portions are HUGE thus the higher than average prices.

Have only had food delivered
Their delivery service is great. Food portions are huge so take advantage and maybe order one dish for 2 people or plan on having leftovers. Not the greatest food but it's decent. I can't rate the atmosphere since I've never set foot inside.

Save your money & try somewhere else
Don't be fooled into thinking that since this place charges more than average prices you are going to get decent food. I always thought that LA had weak Chinese restaraunts compared to the East coast. Over the past few years I found that the South Bay finally started getting some decent places. Every veggie in my order of 5 dishes was overcooked to the point of being limp and mushy. The sauces were all super sweet. Spicy dishes were not spicy at all. The quality of the chicken beef and pork were low. Lots of untrimmed fat and gristle. The prices are very high. Even if the place charged half the prices they do I'd never return. YUCK!!!!
