Not exactly a work of Art
This used to be a great deli, but it's gone completely downhill. I ordered sliced sturgeon, which costs a fortune. It was full of little shards of bone that made it almost impossible to eat. A corned beef sandwich was so dry, we asked to send it back. The waitress complied and replaced it with a pastrami sandwich that was moist and flavorless. Nothing we ordered was good. We thought we hit a bad night and returned about two months later. My chicken soup was greasy, lukewarm, and too salty. The corned beef was still terribly dry, and this time, the bread wasn't fresh. Since they closed after their fire, Art's is no longer a work of Art.
