Being part Croation, I have been reaised on the wonderful Croat food which is the same as served at Ante's. This restaurant is genuine, good Croation food. It is served with a smile, and two of our favorite waitresses, Darka and Ellie, are the best servers anywhere. Of course, Host Tony is a wonderful host as well as restauranteur. His recipe's and menus cannot be topped. Whenever we want a good time and a wonderful "home cooked" meal, we head to Ante's. In fact, we have Croation relatives staying with us wrom Monterey, and we are going to Ante's tonight for Mother's Day. Our Mother's will be thrilled.

The best kept secret in San Pedro this place has its locals that know what great food is, the food is both American and Croatian and everything in between the food is excellent from the calamari to the prime rib on the week-end to the cabbage rolls and sauerkraut the beef dips and sandwiches the mostacciolli is the best in town you can have it red or white with bay shrimp my favorite is the calamari steak sauteed in butter and garlic and it is good all and all the food is priced just right and you get alot for your money and they even have rooms for great banquets that they will work with you to make it a expererince you won't forget I give it all five stars.................
