    Best Indian food

I have only eaten at about 4 Indian restaurants here in LA and this one is by far the BEST I have had. They don' add cilatro if you don't want them to and they will make it as hot as you like! Seriously, it is so delicious. Also, it is ALL vegetarian. I hate getting an accidental bit of meat in my food.

    Return customer

I've had lunch and dinner and really enjoyed everything. The weekend brunch is the best value. The food has always been excellent. Internet at the tables and Bollywood on the big screens makes this not just a great vegetarian restaurant, but also a fun place to visit. If you cook your own, stop by the grocery next door to pick up some fresh produce, chana dal, or tamarind paste.

This place has tanked since last time...

When this place first opened a few years back, it was fresh and really authentic South Indian food. But oh my, what a difference in the food today. We just ate there and our meal was lousy! (sorry to the owners....) The dosas were soggy, very thick, and weren't crispy. The chutneys they serve (with the dosas) were not fresh and a few days old. The chai was so strong and lacked subtlety. I am afraid the quality is gone over there....We will be waiting for another South Indian restaurant to open and take over the vacuum left in West Los Angeles for South Indian food....Otherwise, it's worth the trip to Cerritos/Artesia and places like Udipi Palace for reliable and delicious dosas. Thanks.

    Great authentic Food

Nice south indian food,. Authentic and simple. Nothing fancy or elaborate. Ever since i found it, have been there several times. Good place for take out too. Environment also simple. Def. NOT a date place.
