Wanna be French
My dining experience was very pricy for Brasserie food and came with a great dissapoitment! The menu has shrunk, they don't offer daily special any longer, (most be the economy?) My wife ordered onion soup. The soup came luke warm and with thin layer of cheese. I thought that onion soup was all about cheese,it was mud like consistency. I ordered frisee lardons, again, the lardons were burned and very hard to find in the salad. The dressing tasted like water. At that point we were wondering if the main course would make up for the tasteless appetizers that we waited for close to 40 minutes.. We ordered chicken and entrecote frites.Well, chicken couldn't be any dryer and the entrecote any thiner and well done. I ordered the entrecote rare and the frites cold. The whole dinner was a total waste of time and money. This wasn't the French Brasserie food that we expected. Sad to say, we won't be back and will not recommend it to anyone. There is way too many good restaurant in town.

A welcomed change of atmosphere to Santa Monica!
Food, service and atmosphere were great. Very much like a Parisian brasserie. Loved it!
