Disappointing service - tried to order from recent flyer and staff refused my order because I tried to order 2 items from the flyer. He told one that I could only use 1 coupon.I told him it wasn't a coupon it was a flyer and no where on the flyer does it state that you could not order more than one item from the flyer. He told me it was in the fine print which states "prices subject to change without notice". I was appalled at his attitude. We have gone to Ameci for years and have never been subjected to this treatment. All I wanted was their "what-a deal", 1 large pizza and their 2 pizzas with 1topping. It would have been a total of 3 lousy pizzas for about $38 dollars. It wasn't a lot of food and I was not trying to take advantage of them but they sure tried to take advantage of me. Staffer then told me that their location wasn't partcipating even though the flyer showed them as a partcipating location. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and their apparent policy (if it is true and this staffer just didn't misunderstand) WE have never had this problem in the past with Ameci and I hope mangement and the Owners see this

Food is good, esp. for the prices. Just moved here from Florida and this is one of the better pizza places that we have found in Redondo Beach. We have had their pizza and sandwhiches, which were both really good. Their Garlic Rolls are also awesome.

If you have not been to Ameci since 2008 it is worth revisiting this restraunt. Years ago I went to Ameci and had what I would say is average food. I thought the sandwiches were bland and thin on toppings..the classic bread sandwich. Last year a friend of mine encouraged me to try Ameci again. I'm glad I did. It is a lot better than it use to be. The pizza has a thinner crispy crust. The Calzone are great too.

I first went to Ameci's a few years ago and the pizza had orange-ish sauce, soggy crust, and so-so cheese. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat, it's edible. It's just not that great.
