italian done right
we often order takeout from Amalfi, and despite the long wait (usu 45+mins), we are always happy. as a kid that grew up in nyc, i can tell you what good italian food is, and this place has hit it on the nose. the lamb risotto, and bolognese are excellent. the calamari and carpaccio apps are top notch. the pizzas are thin crust and delectable - reminds me of Florence.
