Swedishly perfect
The food was delicious. Every course. The Swedish food was just like my mother's. Other members of our dinner party had things from the menu not Swedish and they too were perfect. We sat upstairs, Saturday night. The music completely took over. The bass sounds caused the floor to shake. Conversation was almost impossible. We would go back again but only if we were assured that it was a "no music night".

Expected Scandinavian Food but got American
I saw a great review in the LA Times and met a couple of friends for brunch. One friend is from Norway, and I thought she would especially enjoy it. I read the menu on line which listed gravlax, and other traditional Scandinavian food, but the only thing reminiscent of a Norwegian breakfast was the salmon. I will say that the Salmon was fresh and delicious, but the menu was very limited and mostly not that interesting. The patio is wonderful, although quite loud. I did like the ambience, and would try it again for possibly, dinner. They only have beer and wine, so cocktails are out. No aquavit here! Service was amazingly slow, but polite. They offered no deserts at all. The waiter suggested, "pancakes". For dessert? Well, they are still new, so I will give them a couple of months to get their liquor license and improve their service. Overall, I would give it a B-
