    Fav Pizza!

Great Pizza - I think I have had everything on the menu but I keep coming back to the five onion... delicious. Probably the best pizza in LA (who knows, there may be another lurking out there but not that I have found.) At the location, the service is slow and the place is LOUD. On a nice day, though, you can sit outside. Delivery is about average for a pizza place. I definitely recommend it.

    Best I've had in LA

Abbots is my favorite Pizza spot in LA, I only give it 4.5 because there is always room for improvement, but it is really really good. I would call it New York style pizza, but they add their own unique touch. I really like that you can get onion, garlic, sesame, and many other types of crust. The crust is very nice, slightly crispy / chewy and delicious. The Popeye Chicken is incredible, the tequila lime marinated chicken is just out of this world. My only complaint is that the Meat Eaters pizza tends to get a little soggy if you get it delivered, due to the large amount of grease that comes off the meat, but se la vie. The Abbot Kinney location is a nice spot to have a quick slice while your hanging out in Venice, but cramped. Haven't encountered any problems with the service, it's just a typical pizza place vibe. Haven't been to the other location. People have commented that you should pick up, I always get it delivered and have had no issues with it not being hot enough. This is a gem in Venice's crown, give it a try, you won't regret it.

GREAT Pizza when HOT... service horrible

This is the best pizza around when HOT. Which means if you want a hot pizza, you better pick it up! Abbot's service is HORRIBLE, but it's the kind of service you should expect from a pizza place... after all, it's not Tavern on the Green. Bottom line, there's no better pizza in Los Angeles... but you will be disappointed unless you pick it up yourself.

Best LA pie we''ve found so far...

Abbott's offers an interesting style of pizza. Definitely an LA take on the dish. The gourmet offers a wild variety of toppings, something for everyone. The pizza's are about average price, and they deliver in Marina del Rey and Venice. We have tried the wild mushroom and the meat eaters, always delivery. So far everything has been delicious! They use a crust made of bagel dough that comes in a variety of flavors. For a special pizza night at home, Abbott's is the place!
